The Muslim category focuses on the Islamic faith and Muslim culture. For national, political, and secular events related to various nation-states, see the categories of Middle East or Africa and search using the nation’s ISO two-letter symbol (SA). It will be in the event title
Religious holidays and observances in the faith will have a (M) in the event title. Each event includes up to six categories. To focus your results further, use Advanced Search to add categories to narrow your results (requires paid membership).
For example:
- The Culture category delivers results in the Muslim calendar celebrating Islamic art, music, calligraphy, and culture.
- The Family and Friends category will focus on results in the Muslim calendar honoring family and ancestry.
- Adding the Children category will focus results on faith events related to children and siblings.
Please note: Most Muslim religious events begin at sundown the day before. They will be listed on the calendar with a backslash, indicating the event starts at dusk on the first day.
